  • 2D Reassurance & Bonding Scan: R500 (30 min) – Heartbeat listening and black & white thermal keepsake prints.
  • Early Gender Determination Scan: R600 (30 min) – 2D/3D gender check from 14–16+ weeks, printed photos, digital media to phone, and sealed gender reveal envelope on request.
  • 4D / 5D HD-Live Ultrasound Scan: R850 (45 min) – Motion video of baby smiling, yawning, and moving, multiple glossy prints, digital media transferred to phone, heartbeat recording, and a complimentary re-scan voucher if baby is shy.
  • Twins 4D / 5D Ultrasound Scan: R1,100 (60 min) – Dedicated hour session with individual prints and video clips for both babies.

The optimal window for a 4D/5D HD-Live scan is between 24 and 32 weeks of pregnancy, with peak facial clarity between 26 and 30 weeks. At this stage, your baby has developed chubby cheeks and facial features, while still having plenty of amniotic fluid to move around freely.

We provide accurate gender determination scans starting from 14 to 16+ weeks of pregnancy. In line with our strict studio safety policy, Bump to Baby does not perform scans under 12 weeks of pregnancy.

No doctor or gynecologist referral is required. All scans at Bump to Baby are elective, non-diagnostic bonding and reassurance sessions designed for expectant parents and families to see and connect with their baby. (Please note that elective scans do not replace routine diagnostic antenatal medical scans performed by your OB/GYN or midwife).

Yes, absolutely! We welcome partners, children, grandparents, and loved ones into our comfortable viewing suite. We feature high-definition viewing screens so everyone can share in the excitement of watching baby yawn, stretch, and kick in real time.

We are conveniently situated in Building 4, Business Park @ Zambezi, 860 Milkplum Ave, Montana, Pretoria, 0182 (right next to Zambezi Junction and Montana Park). Our location offers secure on-site parking and easy access from the N1 highway, serving families from Montana, Sinoville, Annlin, Doornpoort, Wonderboom, Pretoria North, and Centurion.

The single best way to ensure clear, high-definition 4D images is to drink 2 to 3 liters of water each day for 3 days leading up to your scan. Good maternal hydration enhances amniotic fluid transparency. You do not need a full bladder. Enjoying a natural cold fruit juice or light snack 15 minutes before your session can also gently encourage baby to move!
